Live and studio recordings previously released on cassette in 1995. Free-noise (jazz?) assaults, impro-visations, objects beaten and scraped, but also a violin. All you can imagine and nothing you may imagine. A manifesto of musical freedom.

KAPOTTE MUZIEK - Enhanced Room Acoustics

Previously released on cassette in 1996, the two original tracks are here enhanced by a new one especially composed and performed by Freiband in 2007. From the analogic sound modifications of last century's industrial age to the micro and nearly audible variations of the new digital era.

CRAWLING WITH TARTS - Ludiques Manifestes

Three live recordings from concerts held in Oakland in 1991 and 1992. Intended to be released on cassette in 1999, but kept in the drawer until now, this work is published for the first time. Improvisation sketches on percussive patterns, self-constructed instruments, and even a punky, fast and furious song. Different sides of a group always different from the rest.

DsorDNE - Grafio ricerca 002

Originally released on cassette by Hax twenty years ago, Grafio Ricerca 002 was remastered by Marco Milanesio/DsorDNE himself and enhanced with three unreleased tracks. Here are the basis for the sound later developed and released on the “E’ un sole” and “24 o 25 - GRU/O/MO” albums.

GI GASPARIN - 24 soli

Always busy with many groups (Piume E Sangue, Pangolinorchestrà, Gi-Napajo, etc.) and collaborative projects (just look few lines below), the workaholic Gasparin had the time to record this solitary work. Just a guitar, a keyboard, and a misterious “horizontal rantola” as instruments, but lots of ideas and influences.

GI GASPARIN & JACOPO ANDREINI - Il giro del mondo in 80 pezzi

That is, “Around the World in 80 Tracks”. Gasparin and Andreini are active in the Italian impro/alternative circuit since the early 90’s. Here they join forces and travel around every musical genre and style you can mention. This is the world music you’ll never find in a world music shop.

GI GASPARIN & FELICE PESAVENTO - Caja Antelice

A work based on sampling, tapes, and records with some guitar and keyboard additions. It may sound like dark ambient at first, but it suddenly turns into looped rhythms then suddenly it turns into more structured compositions then suddenly.....
